Reverse Culture Shock: The second time around

As a follow-up to my first time going back home , here is a quick report on the things that struck to me the most on my second visit back home, which was approximately a year and 9 months after I first left Canada!!!

How much greens there was all over, and how lush the parks were!

How great it felt to speak English everywhere!!! And I mean, fluent English!

 

 How smoothhhhhh driving on the road felt!!! Like an airplane!!

 

Tonight's street dinner

Okay it's dinner time... Don't feel like going too far... Let's go out of my alleyway and turn 'round the bend and see what I can find... Hmm... this place looks quite decent... Let's order!

I'll have some seasoned beef skewers, some grilled salt-chilli prawns...

A mini banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake with shrimp, pork, bean sprouts inside)...

And ngheu hap thai (Clams steamed in Thai sauce)...

That was delicious! And all for 102,000 VND (about $5).
